Nomination Process

For the first time, 2010 Regional Awards nominees have the opportunity to be nominated for the 2010 South Australian of the Year Awards and the 2011 Telstra Business Awards.

  • Nominations must be received before 5.00pm on Friday 4 June 2010 to be considered for entry.

  • Advantage SA will contact all Regional Award nominees to verify their nomination. Once the nomination has been confirmed, Advantage SA will forward an entry kit for completion by the nominee.

  • To be eligible for an Advantage SA Regional Award, an entry must be completed and submitted to Advantage SA by 5.00pm on Monday 2 August 2010.

  • All nomination, entry information and material submitted remains the property of Advantage SA and will not be returned.

 

Conditions of Entry

  • The Awards are open to residents of South Australia who live and work in regional areas and have demonstrated excellence in sponsored categories
  • Nominees may be an individual, business, community group, event or project
  • Self nominations are accepted
  • Nominees are encouraged to enter the category that best reflects themselves or their business
  • Regional Award applicants may nominate for a maximum of two categories where appropriate. Multiple Regional Award nominations, however, must be made separately and each nomination must carry its own supporting material
  • Regional Award nominees can be nominated into the South Australian of the Year Awards held November 2010
  • Nominees into the Youth Category must be 26 years of age and under
  • The judging panel reserves the right to ridirect the nomination to another award category if it is considered more suitable
  • Organisations or individuals that are awarded on three different occasions, irrespective of year and category are automatically inducted into the Regional Awards Telstra Hall of Fame.
  • Once admitted into the Regional Awards Telstra Hall of Fame you are ineligible to nominate for future Regional Awards for a period of three years
